$600 off until the end of April!
It's no secret that the tiny house craze is sweeping the nation. People, sick of bloated mcmansion living, are rebelling and purposefully living small. Some have cashed in on this trend and are ready and willing to charge exorbitant sums to those hungry for this simplification, but there is another option: using earthbags, we can build stronger tiny homes at a fraction of the cost. During this workshop, we will build an entire house from the ground up. The build will last from five to eight days, depending on how fast it goes. Participants should leave with all of the skills needed to build their own home.
We are pleased to be offering this natural building workshop on September 7th - 14th, 2019, at Bottom Leaf Intentional Community, one hour North of Asheville, NC. During this five to eight day workshop, we will build an entire earthbag tiny house, foundation to roof. Participants will get hands-on experience with earthbag, cob, bottlewall, earthplaster, and more. We will also discuss house design, site selection, roof and foundation types and much, much more! The workshop will take up to eight days but my guess is that, with a good team, we will finish before that. Signing up for this workshop entitles the participant to spend as much time as they would like on the project but no refunds will be given for those who leave early.
Primitive camping is available for free on site. Morning coffee and lunch will be served daily. The hours of the workshop will be from 10am to 5pm on each day, with an hour-long break for lunch. Enrollment is limited to 10 people. Until the end of April, the early-bird price of the workshop is $400.00 - $600 off! This will be the lowest price it's offered for.
Please use the "add to cart" button to buy this workshop or use the contact page to ask any questions you might have. You will not be considered enrolled until the payment is made. Once you have paid and signed up, directions and more info will be emailed to you.
